Why Home Fitness?
Gyms are great but some people are too shy or can’t afford it, so they end up doing nothing. Your Home Fitness provides tips on how you can start your fitness journey from the privacy of your own home.
My Journey So Far…
In the space of 12 months I quit smoking, lost 24 kilos and in the process of losing more. There was no magic pill or miracle manoeuvre–my weight-loss is attributed to exercise and clean eating.
I started with a rickety old exercise bike that barely held me. I now own a variety of quality exercise equipment that I love (using money I saved on cigarettes)!
In the beginning, I was too self-conscious to join a gym. But having that one piece of equipment in my own home was enough to get me started.
Once I got started, momentum took over, which morphed into habit that burst into passion.
I’m now 40 with arthritis, but I don’t let that stop me. Education and mindset are key. There’s an abundance of online trainers and information on exercise and nutrition.
I decided it was time I invested in myself and it was totally worth it.
If I can do it, you can too!
I’m just an average gal, sharing what I’ve learned. My goal is to help you start your fitness journey. There are so many people in situations like mine, and it is possible to make the changes you want.
Weights, bikes, treadmills, resistant bands, Pilates and cable machines, chin-up bars, punching bags… there’s something for everyone to keep motivated.
